this is so shit lol it still disconnects wtf :/ i wonder if its just me or everyone, wish some others would try it like pronto haha, does he have any idea why it does this?

do i need to make a new profile or anything? my friends list and stats are empty too btw, despite being the same profile etc

Yeah, it is different server to gamespy so will delete friends, try an new account

Ok so I just gave it a try and remember last time before the updates I couldn't get past the connect to gamespy. Well this time I was able to connect through and start a game but after about 5 seconds it disconnected like mentioned by JimMeister but clearly you are very close to getting this fully back online so keep up the great work !
