Interesting idea, but don't really think it's worth the effort to keep track of that. Don't see a reason why an original playstation controller (without the thumbsticks) would be preferable to a dualshock 1. Most games require analog sticks and the dpads, as I understand it, are the same on the dualshock 1 and original playstation controller without the thumbsticks.

Well then, is it at least worth updating the list to note that Capcom Classics Collection Volume 2 is compatible with the Dualshock 1, that Kingdom Hearts is only compatible with the Dualshock 2, and that Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is compatible with the Dualshock 1?

btw the original non-dualshock ps1 controllers are much more durable, so that's a reason someone might prefer it. not too functional with most ps2 games though. soul calibur, code veronica, and onimusha are likely some of the exceptions

crash of the titans and crash mind over mutant do not work with DS1. also thanks for the list.
