PS2 Online Gaming

I really have never got into the racing game genre too much. I am not a fan of cars and racing in real life, so racing games dont often appeal to me much. Like I especially have zero interest in realistic racing games like the gran turismo series for example

I do like arcade style racing games or kart racing games however.

I own burnout 3 and really enjoy that. I also love Jak X: Combat racing which is like mario kart in a way.

So, what racing games do you guys like for the PS2? Pointing out arcade style/kart racing games wins you a free sandwich!

I would just suggest the midnight club series and you should try ATV off road fury.
I know you don't like realistic games but it is an ATV and you can knock people off the road and it is nothing like Gran Turismo. Speaking of Gran Turismo you should try Gran Turismo. You can't talk about PS2 racing games without mentioning Gran Turismo.

I forgot to mention I own midnight club 3. I enjoyed that a bit, but really dislike how the tracks are all open pathed.Like you always have to waste time consulting a map or guessing at the best routes for every new track you play.

You should try out one of the ATV Offroad Fury games. I had ATV Offroad Fury , but due to the lack of online players and repetitiveness of the single-player I traded it in (which I now regret). But that was before I was a member of ps2 online sites.

I was surprised no one play it online when I got it. It is pretty fun.

Yea I will try one of those ATV offroad fury games one day since they have LAN. No idea if its something I would enjoy.

I like Crash N’ Burn its fun but no one plays online anymore. I haven’t got to play much of it. I found it last year I think and rented it then was never able to find it for sale anywhere till last month. To say the least with the PS3 I haven’t played much PS2 lately. Need for speeds was good, but the servers died out for PS2, but if you are lucky the PC version has LAN for underground 2 and if you know some gamers that play over it then you are set. that’s about the only ones on PS2 I have cared for. Or tried really.

Hmmm, I had not heard of Crash N Burn before. I read about it and it sounds like something I might enjoy. I will pick that up in the future.

Let me know when you get it, even offline isnt bad. Im still at level 8 with it so Im a noob, but you can upgrade you're car and buy parts for it. But the main goal is to destroy the other cars.
