If I'm correct, THPS3 was the first PS2 game with online and was released in 2001 and the Official Network Adapter was released a year later in 2002. All online PS2 games released in and after 2003 use the DNAS servers to connect to online.

As for UYA, They will either terminate the PS2 servers after the HD version is out, or they could just link the HD version to the PS2 servers and make them up-to-date and faster/better.

Edit* Twisted Metal Black Shouldn't use DNAS either because it was released in 2001 (i think?). I found this list of games released in 2000-2001: http://www.digitpress.com/forum/archive ... 48533.html . The games released in 2001 that have online mode shouldn't use DNAS either.

Also found this: http://www.psxextreme.com/feature/33.html . Some 2001 released games with online play that don't use DNAS.

To see what others there are (I'm sure there are some more) you'd just have to go down th elist and see which were releaed from 2000-2002 and have online. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Pl ... on_2_games

Some more: http://www.cdrom-guide.com/forums/showt ... p?t=265094 . I guess some 2003 sports games don't have it either.

Minor correction: a small amount of games released in 2003 (early 2003,) do not authenticate to DNAS; most notably Amplitude.

Well, that link's hardly relevant, because none of those games support online multiplayer. :P

But yeah, I really doubt that the PS2 version of R&C UYA will make it to the end of the year.
