also jacobgrocks, if you don't mind disable the auto kick for negative score, vote to ban stuff.
Thanks for hosting a BF2 server

Wait, so if our servers are up 24/7 do players actually have to be in there? Or will I just play against bots until someone joins? Also, if I am the only actual player in the game, will it just cycle maps normally?

If you're the only person there you will play against all bots. It will cycle maps normally.

Awesome. I will just play on the server whenever I am playing star wars... Than when people join, I will be like. "WHAT'S UP!!! SIGN UP TO PS2ONLINEGAMING.COM...."

In order to properly host a server on your own computer you need to make sure that the ports 3658 (TCP/UDP), 3659 (TCP/UDP), 3558 (TCP), 4658 (TCP/UDP), 6500 (TCP/UDP), 27900 (TCP), and 29920 (TCP). Otherwise your server may show up with no ping and people may not be able to join, if it shows up at all.
Alternatively you can just DMZ the computer, but that can be risky if you do anything besides hosting a server.
Another alternative is to rent a server from
Art of War Central.
