I'm not sure if any of the SOCOM games have a CTF mode, but I know that SOCOM and SOCOM II each have a mode in which the SEALs try to rescue hostages from the terrorist. Both of them also have a "Demolition" mode, although I don't remember exactly how it works.

Yeah Socom has 5 different game modes I think with a lot of customization in how the game mode is setup.

which one??all or certain versions?i am talking about online modes,just to be clear.

This page has information on SOCOM II. If you scroll down, you'll see info on the game's five online multiplayer modes, including Breach and Escort. (Those two modes were not in the original SOCOM.)
I haven't played that much of SOCOM II, but from what I've seen, (and from what I've heard,) it offers the best online experience of all the SOCOM games for the Playstation 2. I'd definitely recommend it.
