You need an account that was made using BF2: MC. A normal GameSpy account won't work.

Lol, I know. I posted on like 20 videos and 30 forums saying i needed an account.

You could also try messaging sellers on eBay or Amazon, but they probably won't give the goods up unless you buy the game.

I wonder how many people still play. I wonder if it was just a bug that couldn't let people setup their accounts and then the publisher told them not to fix it. or was it they disabled it?

it has like 2 or three full rooms that hold 24 people during the day every day.but its only dedicated players that play that wont let the game die im one of them.

Yeah. I expected more than 60 players when I got my account but it is still fun. I mean, look at the THPS community. There is only like 15 active PS2 users and it is still a blast to play even with the low numbers. You are right about only the dedicated players still playing to keep the servers up. They are just fighting to keep it going. I bet that if EA left account creation up then there would be still around 500 at a time.
