7:30 PM should be about 9:30 PM here in Nebraska... I could make it. When do you plan on starting this, though?

I know the decision has already been made, and also i'm not a regular here, but I just wanted to give my input.

By the way, you keep saying Pacific Time (GMT-7), but other sites are saying GMT-8?

Is it GMT-7 or GMT-8???
This thread is like 2 years old. We kept the weekly game of TSFP going until very recently, but weve decided to stop having it as a set weekly event: http://www.ps2onlinegaming.com/forum/vi ... f=35&t=904 We talked about this here.

If a lot of people are interested in participating in a weekly game of tsfp perhaps we could start it up again though. I wont be able to make most of them like I used to though.

Also, Pacific time shifts between gmt-7 and gmt-8 depending on if its day lights saving time or standard time. Right now it is standard time so the pacific time zone is gmt-8. Once it switches to daylights saving time, the pacific time zone will be gmt-7.

more info about gmt time/time zones is here: http://www.ps2onlinegaming.com/forum/vi ... ?f=36&t=51

Perfect! I'll try to get one going. I doubt it'll do well, but dammit, I'm gonna try

I still love this game, and enjoy playing it often. I just cannot no longer commit to running it and being there most saturdays. I'd still try to show up when I could if other people wanted to play it weekly though. I'd suggest keeping it at the traditional time 7:30pm Pacific time, since a lot of old site members would randomly show up at that time even without looking here on the site because they used to show up then. If you have several people that want to play though, but at a different time, feel free to change it to something convenient for you guys.

Like if you can show up every week. I'd suggest telling people you'd wait around for 30 mins and if no one shows up you will leave. That way you dont waste your time waiting around if people arent going to show up. The best strategy for getting a weekly game to work in my opinion is to remind people about it each week a few days before the game time and right before the game time on the same day.

I'd also suggest using the chat on our site here. The link is at the top of the page and can be accessed only once you have logged into the site. The Xlink Kai chat often is buggy.

*EDIT*

Also, here our some hosting tips for TSFP:

http://www.ps2onlinegaming.com/forum/vi ... f=21&t=118

You dont have to follow these if you dont like them, but the suggestions there usually kept people happy when we played.
