Timesplitters Future Perfect (24th weekly game 3/19/11)

Post by lazyhoboguy »

Just wanted to remind everyone that our next weekly game of Timesplitters Future Perfect will be on Saturday 3/19/2011 at 7:30 PM Pacific Time (GMT-7). It will be played through LAN tunneling with Xlink Kai. Or if we run into trouble with XLink Kai, we will try using XBSlink.

If you ever forget the time for the weekly match, it is also posted on the game calendar.

More info about the weekly game can be found in the news post about it

I have been busy the last few weeks and have been missing out on ps2 online. After this weekend I think I should be able to start playing online again more often.

Also, Please read the news post about adjusting your GMT time zone/gmt signature clocks because of daylights savings time:

I will be able to make this for sure. Can anyone else confirm they can make it?

I hope I can join, I'm not sure how Xlink work, but I can start a LAN game it seems, is it good?

looks like the starting time will be around 3:30 AM sunday, for me, which isn't super convenient. is it possible to start earlier? or at least the next matchs, if it is too late to change the hour for tommorow?

Hmm yea it sucks getting around the time difference between europe and north america. We figured out this time works the best for all of us to make a game each week. So the weekly game time is going to stay at this time unless lots of people need it at a different time.

That being said, we can of course try to schedule a game at a time that is more convenient for you since you are in europe.

I would suggest adding a clock for your time zone into your signature since it will us when trying to schedule game times. You can find out how to do that here:

http://www.ps2onlinegaming.com/forum/vi ... ?f=36&t=51

For Xlink Kai, make sure you get version 7.3.1.7 of it. The newer versions of it do not work with playstation 2. Normally this version is still on xlink kai's website in the downloads section, but it temporarily off their website. You can get version 7.3.1.7 here still though:

To set up xlink kai, first read the FAQ on their website. If you still have problems you can ask us for help in the help section of our website.

I've already installed Xlink. I can run it, and I can get to choose between a lot of games and have the option to join sub-arenas. but I didn't see anyone, so couldn't join a game yet.
