Tribes AA Tuesday 6/12/12

Me and Teamr@@kie and his friends will be playing Tribes this Tuesday at 5 PST and 7 CST. A little deathmatch and now some hunters. If anyone wants to play Tribes but cant make the time let me know. I kind of want to play Saturdays
And if you need help with set up let me know I also know how to connect the game via free dail-up

will you still be playing at 7pm PST? That's when I can start playing after I get out of work (10pm EST for me)

No it will probably be worn out by then but if your going to be there at 7 we can all quit at 6 and come back in an hour. That way we take a quick break. It also depends on whose there I always quit at an hour and a half but Team R@@kie might still be there at past 7.

you have to put in a specific dns address to play tribes
once you done that right, you shouldn't have a problem joining
if you get off work at 10pm est, i guess you won't be around untill 10:30pm est
I'll set up another room at 10:30pm est and I'll just let it run for a half an hour as a test run for you
if you do connect successfully I'll play for awhile
a late game might work for someone that can't make it by 7pm cst
if you have any problems finding the right dns address
just let harry or i know

I couldn't even get my PS2 to connect online at all last night. My PS2 is wired to my laptop which I use as a wireless bridge to connect to my router. It usually works but sometimes it just doesn't seem to work and I'm not sure why...

NoLimits, what DNS address are you using? if you have the right DNS address, after refreshing the list, no matter what you should see a room you can't join but at least you know you're at the right spot
I can't do this Saturday but if we can get a set time started that works for people
then I'll try to round up some more players

I can play on Saturday, depending on the time (I have work until 4pm EST), anytime after that should be fine unless I'm with friends.
And teamrookie, I didn't actually try to connect to Tribes but I quikcly tried connecting to Battlefield 2, which was not working, so I assumed I needed to change something with my network config and I didn't want to bother trying to fix it at that time. But I did figure out what was wrong today and I should be good to go.

good man,
bf2, if you have played before like a long time ago, i figured out that you don't need a specific dns address
as for tribes you do
once you try to get on tribes and keep refreshing the list you should, no matter what see a master list sever
which is a room you can't join it just basically tells you that you're at the right spot
if you can't see the room then you're not there yet
well here, screw it
one manual DNS address is
74.65.195.94 and the other is
69.94.120.8
you need to enter one of those by going to the network configuration on the tribes main menu at the bottom of the screen, it's a little lengthy process
