I hosted twice in the pas and it worked. I Think there might be something with the server.

Area 51 has always had problems with hosting a server, even when it was populated online, lots of people had trouble connecting to servers, hence always trying to get someone who has hosted a good server before, to try and host again, rather than any random person
From this site, it seems only teamrookie and dar-and that can host well, martindecano i think is another one
Shame really but its always been the same, there was always this one guy back in the day who kept his server on for days at a time, because he knew he could host and not a lot of other people could
Hope to play again soon however!

I could of let area 51 run all day Monday, but i don't like to do that if i'm not around.
I can't wait until after March 31st to find out you still can play area 51 and mka online still.
I don't know why it wouldn't work if it's working now.
Now final fantasy is a monthly paid fee online game and it's been going on a long time so once that's down it's down.
As for everything else, with a working dns, as long as they keep their dns working, then i don't know why online ps2 will go down.
