Re: Console failed to configure
Umm, this might not be news but it still isn't working.
Any further suggestions? lazyhobo, you suggested a little troubleshooting between me and you, what exactly would we be checking?
I'm tempted to plug in a PS2 and see how that goes down.
So far, I've openned port 30,000, set a static IP, refined my PS3's network setup and made a new PS2 network confguration file on my PS3's internal memory card.

Uhh, what was your OS again? And can you post some screenshots of the xlink application?
Press Alt+Print to only make a screenshot of the active application window. Save them in paint and upload on an image host like www.imageshack.us

Windows XP
What exactly do you want pics of?

Your images may only be up to 249 pixels high.
Your images may only be up to 400 pixels wide.
How silly.

Re: Console failed to configure
Try an actual PS2 if you can Pike Fodder. If that doesn't work, then we can narrow it down from there.

Re: Console failed to configure
I do it a little weird becuase Autoconfig wont work. I use a bridge connection on XP with my WIFI.. Plug the PS2 into my PC ethernet port and set XLINK netowrk adapter to your ethernet adapter. Then follow the OC guide to make a Static Xlink IP and connect. Thats works for me but not autoconfig.

Re: Console failed to configure
Hmm. that doesn't look good. We need to get the console status fixed before we can proceed with the connection status.
The public IP is not important, it will change anyway after 24 hours
Your setup is now like this?
PS3 --- Router --- PC(XP) Is that correct?
Router -wifi- Notebook -wire- PS2

I'm also running the setting like this:Favrenation wrote:I do it a little weird becuase Autoconfig wont work. I use a bridge connection on XP with my WIFI.. Re: Console failed to configure
You enabled port forwarding on the Router to the PC on UDP Port 30000?
The network configuration file uses default settings?

Yes, but does UDP have any significance?SHARKGUN wrote:You enabled port forwarding on the Router to the PC on UDP Port 30000?
The thing on the memory card? Yeah, pretty much. Wasn't much to change when setting it up though.SHARKGUN wrote:The network configuration file uses default settings?

I meant my internal IP.The public IP is not important, it will change anyway after 24 hours
