Probably many of you don't even realize this, but we have a calendar for the site (located as a link under the "Game Scheduling: Normal Servers" forum section) where people can post the days and times they'd like to play something. It is hosted by an offsite source, and has a lot of ads which has always bothered me. It is used very rarely it seems since it's not connected to the site, and I am thinking it's not really worth keeping around as it probably causes more confusion about game planning. Some people think they can just post there and not in the game scheduling sections, which isn't too wise since the calendar is rarely seen and not connected to the forum. Also, the game calendar often becomes cluttered as people will post a recurring game time for like a year and it of course isn't still going on now.
I think the game calendar causes more issues than it resolves, and think simplifying things by deleting it would be better. So what is your guys' opinion about this?
Is the site game calendar worth keeping?

Unless the calendar can be better integrated with the site, I say ditch it. I can't speak for everyone, but I only used it a handful of times since the site's inception. The Game Scheduling forum fulfills our needs and is readily accessible for both members and guests.

Thanks for your responses, sounding like I'll be deleting it. I'll wait maybe a week to hear what other people have to say first, but it's probably going.

Forgot about this thread until now, but finally removed the game calendar from the site.
