I love both of those games. Red Faction was has great environmental destruction and a great single player. Red Faction 2 has an amazing bot multiplayer that is as customizable and just as fun as the Timesplitters series imo.

My first game was Grand Theft Auto III. I bought a PS2 to play that game. A friend at work told me about it and I couldn't believe him. That's still a great game.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 and ATV Offroad Fury 1. I still play them... :)

Mine is both Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, then I got Tony Hawk's Project 8

SSX was all i played for months, then i got Zone of the Enders and that MGS2 demo that came with it. then Silent Hill 2. Metal Gear Solid 2 coming out one day was what my ps2 lived for, and i finally got that too :)

My first ps2 game was NASCAR '08 cause I got my slim for Christmas cause we didn't have enough money fir the ps3 I wanted :| but looking back I'm happy I got the ps2 cause my dad got a new job and now out if my ps3 xbox360 and wii my ps2 is still my favorite :D
