If you can, connect through my DNS and let me know the exact time you are connecting so I can look through the logs for differences. I don't see anything significant there at the moment, but if you can't log for packets this could help.

Maybe can just replace it to "_en_GB" and other?

Country code:

Code: Select all

_en_US
_en_GB
_fr_FR
_de_DE
_it_IT
_es_ES
_sv
_nl
Since people are usually lazy to test things with me I went and broke the DNS to take logs. I found that there is in fact a "_en_GB", but there are also some other European files. I have put files up for what it asked for. They all say the same thing with the file name at the bottom for now, but it should get you where you need to. I also threw in files for the other country codes, whether any region game will use them it's better off being there.

Four times.
First news bar and 3 times during accepting terms.

EDIT: I tested all languages and only english is working.
Now you can check the addresses of others in the logs as you suggested.
I will PM you my IP, maybe you quicker find me in the logs.

For the news bar, en_US and en_GB were in an en folder so I figured the other news files would go in separate folders by language... Was wrong, they all go in the en folder. And there are other terms files for the other languages. I have added them all, so there shouldn't be anymore problems. Wish I owned some of the games I host >.> makes it harder to get this stuff done lol... If i knew where the files were checked in the game I'd throw some customization in. Regardless I'll translate the files to their respective languages next.

Heh you do have bad luck man. Ethernat cables are pretty cheap though so that shouldn't hold you back for too long. Try buying online on amazon or newegg.com if u can. Much cheaper than in retail stores.

Or you could go to a thrift store and buy ethernet cables dirt cheap. At least the thrift stores where I live have to test out their products before they sell 'em.

I had a spare account but this finally allows me to use my original one.

Add SG-17 on BF2MC if anyone gets on, somehow I lost everything (stats, friends, etc) in the few years it has been inactive.
