I have the US version (the original). Ill add that tonight.
Edit: It doesn't appear to get past the DNAS unless you connect to the update server (which is emulated). This is the original and not Frontiers btw.

Re: Battlefield 2 Modern Combat
The problem with BF2 is that you need dedicated servers to connect to. Those were originally hosted by EA. There is a hosting company that let users host them for a fee but they wouldn't show up on openspy. I don't understand the entire situation but that is pretty much the gist of it.

Re: DNAS: saving needed packets
While I'm sure it works. This doesnt seem to invalidate his concern. If you use that code, we don't know of it will work the same way as of you use the legit code found on a legit copy of the game. Correct me if I'm wrong

Re: DNAS: saving needed packets
Well, there are a few games with DNAS that have been terminated. Would it be okay to test those with an injected ID of another game if it makes it pass? NFL blitz pro is one of the games that I own with that issue. NHL hitz pro also is known to have the issue.

Re: Games still playable online in 2016!
Thanks for attempting to keep this list updated. Now that I have full control over my server, I can host a dns for this site. The goal would be a single dns that directs to everything. I am working on setting up openspy myself so that I know it won't go down.

Re: DNAS: saving needed packets
Are there any good lists of DNAS ID's for JP region games? I can try to test those too.

Re: DNAS: saving needed packets
The problem with getting the japenese games is that most of us would need to find copies of it (not too hard if you have a modded system) and then you need to the DNAS ID to patch it. I'm not sure if there is a list of ID's for that region like there is for ntsc. I did add a bunch of games last nigh...

Re: DNAS: saving needed packets
Cool, ill get going on this. Is it okay if the game cant connect to the server (gamespy for instance since that needs to be redirected) but can still pass DNAS?

Re: Switching from HDD to SD card!
Interesting. Makes me want to get an early model slim which still had the ide pinouts and do it in the case. That way you get all the benefits of the slim while you can still play off an hdd. How where the load times?

Re: DNAS: saving needed packets
This is great news! This is exactly what was done on the DS and Wii when their servers were going offline. I'm curious, how are you replicating the certificates? Is it legal? I'm asking because the Wii and DS private servers require you to strip ssl off the domains in order to use the server. If you...
