Re: Console failed to configure

That sounds like the way to go. Now can someone tell me how to open that port and how to set a static IP adress? I'll go and see to getting an YIM account set up. http://portforward.com/networking/static-xp.htm There is a guide on how to setup a static ip address on your PC with windows XP. Once yo...

Re: Console failed to configure

Well you are lucky. I said what I said before because if your router does not have port 30000 open by default (most wont) then setting up with 2 network cards wont work, because the port Xlink Kai needs to be open in the first place isnt.

Re: Console failed to configure

Xlink Kai will work with 2 setups. [1] The first and most common setup. You have a router. You plug in one ethernet cord from the router to the ps2/ps3. You plug another ethernet cord from the router to the PC. Xlink Kai needs port 30000 open on your PC. So you have to setup a Static IP address on y...

Re: Console failed to configure

Windows XP The setup should look like this: Router---PC---PS3 Therefore your PC should have two network interfaces (two ethernet ports / 1x ethernet + 1x WLAN). You asked whether question marks in XLink Kai are normal: I see them too. But my connection works nonetheless. You usually just join a fri...

Re: Console failed to configure

Try the guide I posted before and see if that works. Instead of plugging the PS3 into your router you plug it into the ethernet port of your PC if you PC uses wifi. Dont do this. He has a wired connection setup already making his pc on wireless only makes things worse. At Pike Fodder, the thing whe...

Re: Console failed to configure

HOLD UP Before we get Pike Fodder all confused we need to find out the basic way he is setting up everything, meaning if he is using wireless or wires to do this. If he is trying to use wireless internet from his router to pc things will be a lot more complicated to setup. If you are using wireless ...

Xiii [Normal PS2 Online] Videos

This is a video from a match played with members of our site from 8/29/2010. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kl3_KgbU68o We had 4 players total I believe. I never really cared for this game's multiplayer mode much, but it had been awhile since I had tried it so I gave it another chance. I am still no...

Re: Console failed to configure

Wait so Pike Fodder, first of all how are you setup. Are you using wireless for anything? Like is your PC connected to your router with an ethernet cord and your ps2 is connected to the router with an ethernet cord? Also, you should be able to use an auto network configuration for the playstation 2 ...
