Re: Ideas to make this community more alive.
This was site was started over 5 years ago with a group of 4 people. I was the youngest and am the last one who is still around. I will keep the site going for as long as there are people with interest. I have stated before that I wanted to organize the information on the site better and there are ...

Re: PS2Dis and IDApro Help DNS and DNAS patching
Can anyone tell me how the dns address is found using a disassembler? I am wondering in what file on the ps2 disk is edited. Would it be the SCUS_97xx file like when creating cheat codes? How would the gate1.us.dnas address be patched out using ida or ps2dis? Would I need to convert the actual ip t...

I remember those two on SOCOM games. It should be very easy to block them from your room on COD3, but I will try look in to it before posting solution. Sounds like a fun task

Re: Xlink Kai on Raspberry Pi. Have you ever tried?
I have not try it, but should be very simple. Are you comfortable using GNU/Linux? If you not you need to run it as root so example of how to run it from terminal be "sudo ./kaiengine" if you running terminal from the directory it in, or if you have it in one locations in your PATH environment varia...

Re: Socom 2
Hello. I was looking into the possibility of reverse engineering the Socom 2 servers, and if it was even possible. Is there anyone working on a project like this? I know xlink is available, but its buggy and most people don't want to bother to set up that type of software. Is there anyway to possib...

Re: Sony may shut down DNAS server by March 2016
Another thing to note is sony has just released ps2 games on ps4. This means they may bring back som of their online capabilities meaning dnas would be required... And packet captures are read by people who understand coding languages etc... Someone without knowledge of a programming language could...

Re: Setting Up Xlink Question
Make sure you put in the correct IP address otherwise your PS2 won't be detected. Putting auto for PS2 IP should work in most cases as long you have XLink Kai running before you log on to LAN.

Re: Medal of Honor Rising Sun!
well one issue will be that for some reason the game was made so that you have to pass through dnas before you can get to lan, but it is still up so xlink would just need to forward us there. Apart from that it should work i think. As a work around for DNAS problem you can connect through DNAS befo...
