Never mind, I have figured most of it out, I can get to the gamespy login screen. However, it fails to download the terms of services. Just waiting till BOB fixes his DNS and posts a new DNS number so I can create a new account and be on my way.

But in theory, is a regular cat 5e fine or do I need a crossover? Please someone answer this question!
EDIT: Never mind, figured it out. In case anyone needs to know the answer to this question, YES, a regular CAT 5E cable should work fine!

I no router nearby and therefore I have to connect my fat ps2 to my laptop (with Windows 7) via a cat 5e cable and bridge the connection.
