PS2 Online Gaming

hey hailing from dreamcast-talk.com its me segadreamcastlover. i just wanted to say thank you for inviting me to this community. i just got my playstation 2 4 days ago, so im happy that i am able to play with you guys online. the ps2 i own is the first playstation 2 model to come to america, the playstation 2 scph-30001 thick model. my cousin had one back in the day and i always wanted it and my dream came true when my dad got me an early christmas present. do you guys ever play the playstation 2 officially online? i do its quite fun.

Welcome to the site. I am also a member over at dreamcast-talk although I post infrequently because I just acquired a dreamcast recnetly and have few games for it so far.

Yes, we do play Playstation 2 games online through their normal servers. We play about half and half between PS2 online games through their real servers and PS2 games through LAN tunneling (Xlink Kai).

I suggest you read this quick guide on using this website to help you get started here and learn how we plan games and such.

There are a lot of choices for online Playstation 2 games and if you ever spend the the time to get setup for LAN tunneling, you can play some ps2 games online even when their servers have been taken offline.

For offline gaming alone the Playstation 2 is a great console with a massive library of great games. So it was a good console to pick up .

Nice to see you joined! The games you mostly play online is Time Splitters Future Perfect, Jak X Combat Racing, Tony Hawk Proskater 3, Twisted Metal Black Online and a few others. What games do you play online already?

i play midnight club 3 dub edition remix officially online, call of duty 3 offically online. and im gonna get more games that go online for christmas.

For officially online games, I would suggest you get either of the star wars battlefront games. We seem to play star wars battlefront 2 more than the first one.

my friend gave me both star wars battlefront I & II but the second one really needs to be resurfaced before it can be played again

i am a late 1990's/early 2000's audio/video enthusiast, so i collect stuff from that time era, which i think things were built better back then.

i would say Cheetos i mean they already have the zingers out which are awesome

Nonothat collects laserdiscs so you guys can have a great discussion about that.

partciulary i like the Sony, Pioneer, and Mitsubishi brands from that time era, the pioneer elite 1080I projection tv looked really good back then. i should look into getting one once i get my own house
