Re: Choices,choices
why are you buying a component cord when you don't have a ps2 yet?
try to enjoy some of the games you have
save money from buying other games until you have a ps2
its just funny
its like buying movies and games and lets just say, you even have a ps2 but yet no tv
i mean imagine if you didn't even have a tv and you're getting all this stuff you're looking forward watching but yet no tv
in your instance, a ps2
you want advice on games, try monopoly board game, at least you don't have to wait to play it because it's all there.
when you do "eventually" get a ps2 again just make sure its one you can go online with but I'm sure you know that
I'd just like to know how much are you going to pay for a ps2, with all these deals you talk about for games i hope you find as good of a deal on a ps2
good luck in your search unless you already found a ps2 at a price you like

Re: Choices,choices
Yeah I know, it may sound strange to you, but the supply and demand for good games around here are pretty slim so I'm getting them when I find them to be safe. I'll be getting my system this week, just gotta wait for payday

Re: Choices,choices
Probably tribes, area 51 and battlefield for multi, ff12 or xenosaga for single player

Re: Choices,choices
Area 51 has a very good campaign man. Make sure you do that as well as multiplayer.
My PS2 YouTube account = http://www.youtube.com/user/jamesxfm1049?feature=mhee
Area 51 is the best... Got it for £1.50 (around 2.50 dollars and 1.90 euros)

Re: Choices,choices
tribes is a blast
the campaign sucks at certain parts but if you want the feel of a 16 player online room with out going online
it's killer the offline matches that is, and you'll get crazy practice and you'll learn a little bit about hosting
just for fun and it's the easiest map
try one player bot match offline play death match and go to the map named white out and have all bots on and you can also control the bots ai from 1 to 10. it'll getcha going and remember if you're not flying you're dieing
if you're getting your ass kicked you can just take off all the bots or you can start with a mean defense, like remote turrets all over the place on capture the flag and then turn the bots on. All these things you can do when you're hosting online as well
i can join a area 51 game too, when you get your shit straight

Re: Choices,choices
you will first have to put in tribes to set up a network configuration
you can keep everything on auto and save
and you can play area 51
for tribes you will have to enter a specific dns address
you can have like 4 or 5, i believe, dns addresses saved on a memory card so it shouldn't be a big deal
