PS2 Online Gaming

Personally, my alltime favourite is Burnout Revenge on xbox360. I never had the chance to play it with PS2 and of course the online mode is gone today... and no LAN mode aswell.

As far as I know no packet captures exist and the discs I checked had no debugging symbols left. So reviving the online mode for a game like this is incredibly hard. Out of luck? Maybe Nevertheless I thought I'd post my interest in this game just in case another cybernecromancy enthusiast stumbles over it and wants to pull something off. Feel free to contact me.

What's your favourite racing game for PS2 ?

Too bad for Burnout
For me Gt4 is Still "The" racing game.
As for a racing online game, I really love Hot wheels Stunt Track Challenge (which is Still playable online). Last time I played it online I really had a lot of fun !

Cleared Burnout Revenge More than 5 times, never played it online. I got excited once I saw on your blog that you wish to revive it's server.

Currently, on PS2, my favourites Racing games are ToCA Race Driver 3 and FlatOut 2, both work with OpenSpy, and they were added do DNAS forever packet collection phase by me.

Gran Turismo 4 had an limited online version, would be nice to have a look at it, mostly likely that will never happen. Can't find someone with good ping to play GT4 over LAN

GTA 4 too. Would love to play that online, never tried before

JakX and ATV3 are my favorites, i was lucky to play them online when they where on their prime, especially JakX!

My fav racing games were NFS Carbon, Jak X and Juiced. Good old times.

Few people still play that awesome game Jak x racing through xlink kai. I beat that game and it was tough and parts of it were mean. It's just not fair shooting down defenseless dinosaurs that don't attack you to get points.
