Re: New Server
Site is down atm as I'm copying the site from the current server to the new one. The forum folder was too big to put in a zip file so I had to remove it for now which effectively broke the site since they're linked... DNS is fine for now. Also, there shouldn't be a difference between my DNS and Open...

Re: New Server
should be any changes for MK, but BF2 and Tribes may be more reliable. I could make it a member only DNS? i stopped the other one due to flooding and whatnot, but if only specified people could go on it it might work out...

Re: New Server
Yes continue using that one. I probably won't put DNS on it at all, but if I do it might only be used as a backup.DJPlace wrote:hey bobz1993 should we still use this one?

New Server
Hey guys, Was just working with an IRL person on a website for them. Talked them into getting a VPS for the sake of ordering food online / reliability. Effectively I have a new VPS to play with and I will likely be moving and web services to it so the site isn't down at random leaving me unable to b...

Re: All GameSpy games on all platforms being shut down on Ma
A bigger concern may be getting what we need to fake a DNAS server. Since whats left of PS2 gaming is run off GameSpy, when it goes down there is concern of DNAS being shutdown since there won't technically be anything left online. Well, SaveMGO apparently found a way to patch out the DNAS check pr...

Re: All GameSpy games on all platforms being shut down on Ma
I've been trying to point my Star Wars Battlefront II server to Openspy, but I've not been having success so far. I know the domain names that need to be added to hosts; those are as follows: swbfront2ps2.available.gamespy.com swbfront2ps2.master.gamespy.com What I haven't been able to figure out i...

Re: All GameSpy games on all platforms being shut down on Ma
I'll move my DNS2 completely over to OpenSpy when the time comes. It wasn't already this way due to BF2MC being on GameSpy. Probably not much use putting it in the agreement pages because they would already be using it to see that in the first place.

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat Stats Pages
I've been contacted by someone making a site for BFMC about making some stuff for the game. Figured you guys might be interested. It can currently pull Top 10 lists + Your placement, Individual player info and clan info. I'm still working on it, but you'll get the idea when you check it out. Individ...

Re: Midnight Club 3 Online
Looks like the same thing, but the guy who tried it out for me didn't tell me what he saw, just that it worked. If you can try Area 51 on DNS 2, let me know what time you do it whether working or not and I'll be able to look into it better.

Midnight Club 3 Online
It was recently reported that there was a freezing issue with MC3 while fetching news. Apparently players have been poping out their ethernet cord before this with a hit or miss connection. As the game still appears to be up on GameSpy and seems to get some activity, I've replaced the files, fixing ...
