If this could work for the gamespy games, then almost all of those will be online forever as openspy works for most of the games.

Wow, welcome to the site. I'm pretty much the guy who runs the site at this point. I will follow that thread. If you need packet captures or anything, let me know I can setup that up with any game you want.

Yeah it also lets you play backups and modified versions of the game which are required for some games to be played online and avoid DNAS. It can be a pain to install yourself though. I'm surprised people are able to sell it on ebay.

I finally got the site transferred to the data center. If the site ever seemed slowed after the last news post, it was because I was hosting it off a raspberry pi 2 on my home connection. No, the servers were taken offline a few years ago. They used Sony Online Entertainment to host their servers so unless someone reverse engineers them then it probably won't be back online.

This is a good idea. Lazyhoboguy and I have made various videos on youtube of our online play so our channels have a few videos. Working on sections of the site where people can put things like these atm.
